Mandai Zoo

The three of us visited the zoo today, on the sixth day that school is closed. The most memorable animal experience for the boys was watching the free ranging orangutans interact with each other. We saw one orangutan trying to run away with a stack of leaves (food) and how three others cornered it to a net to share the spoils. Instead of going about in the tram, I rented a wagon for the boys and Titus had his butt glued firmly on the wagon throughout. He didn’t even want to get up to view the animals in their enclosure! As usual, highlight for the boys’ trip to the zoo was visiting the water play area. Similar to the Bird Park, we spent about six hours at the zoo today.
