Yesterday evening, K asked us parents who’s going to bring T home? Aww… he’s starting to miss the brother after just half a day. But we told him that T would stay one more day at the grandparents’ house.
This morning after he woke up, K went to the empty living room and said that he wants to play with T, before slumping himself on the sofa. On a normal day, T would have already woken up by then and will be busy doing puzzles in the living room, shuffling to the children’s room to check if K has woken up, and shuffling to our room to check if we’ve woken up.
Absence does make the heart grow fonder.
