Happy Chinese New Year!

CNY 2013
Boys posed for me (albeit grudgingly) in front of the school’s CNY wall this morning. T did the artwork in the middle. I think it’s probably pussy willows (google translated it as 猫柳), though I can’t be really sure cos of my very poor knowledge of CNY and plants in general, ha!

Here’s wishing all my readers a Happy Chinese New Year! I’ll be taking a temporary break from blogging over the festive period to stuff my face full of pineapple tarts and love letters =)

  1. Happy CNY!!

猫柳 is incorrect, it’s literally translated word by word, haha. We usually call it 银柳 though it might have other names that I do not know, but am sure it’s never called a 猫柳 🙂
