We’re starting something new at home.
If left to their own devices, K and T will be complaining about each other until the cows come home. Common complaints (extremely trivial to us, but of life-and-death importance to them) are like “why he always follow me”, “why he start eating first”, “he is always coming from my (car) door”, “he did (something minor) in school when he is not supposed to”, yadda yadda yadda. Sometimes we also get character assaults like “why he put words into my mouth”, “why is he always crying over something so minor, he’s a crybaby”, “he must be autistic because he is crying over …”, yadda yadda yadda.
So from today onward, the rule is that every time you say one one bad thing about a family member, you have to follow up with saying two good things about that same family member. Rule also applies to the parents whenever we complain about the children.
