Banana slime

K is going to have to live with banana-smelling books for the rest of the year.

Today was supposed to be fruit day so I left a banana on his side pocket for him to eat at 9.15am. He told me that not everyone in class ate a fruit so he ate his dry cereal instead. He transferred the banana to his main bag compartment (the one that houses his books and stationary) and needless to say, it turned into banana slime (his words, not mine) by the end of the school day.¬†Everything smells like banana now! While I can clean up the plastic-y things like the interior of the bag, pencil case, and colour pencil case …. the math textbook and pupil handbook will just have to smell sweet for another 11 months!
