Isaac turned 1 this week! Extended family gathered for a BBQ to celebrate his birthday. It was a noisy and sweaty celebration, and the cousins totally enjoyed themselves running around and accumulating sweat! Since it was also my birthday and Kok Loon’s birthday over the weekend, the extended family celebrated for us too. Pamela – […]
We’ve finally saved enough to buy a Lego Mindstorms set! Since October, I’ve been sending the boys to school on foot a few days a week. It started out as a punishment for them because I caught them lying and this was one of their entitlements that I slashed. As the weeks passed, it turned out to […]
Cousins played blackjack on the last day of CNY. My brother was the banker. K earned $3 that evening. T didn’t join the game. He played Lego with a younger cousin instead. Coke light and eggs were assembled for a science experiment. T had to soak one raw egg and one hard boiled egg in […]
We squeezed in a short holiday to Malacca before the year ended. As KL couldn’t make it, me and my mum and the boys took a bus there. It was quite painful, 6 hours each way. T took an anti-motion sickness pill on the way there, so he didn’t puke. I lost his other pill […]
可可 is turning 18 months and will be joining a toddler class soon! She’s not too much of a babbler yet but she eats so heartily every time I see her. She really likes KL to carry her!
Had a yummy Christmas lunch with cousins at Bukit Batok. We also took the chance to celebrate the December birthdays in the family. Quite amazing how many December babies there are in this family! And three new dwarfs spotted at Bukit Batok … because my mum is into country decor now!
Last weekend, family met for dinner at House of Seafoood. The dishes were all very good. I especially liked the salted egg yolk crab because it was so gooey and yummy!
Mid week dinner with family @ Junction 8. Because it’s PSLE marking week!
My cousin Jennie passed away last Saturday after a four year plus battle with breast cancer. She would have turned 41 this October. She made her own plans for her own passing. It was a simple cremation, no funeral, ashes shattered into the sea, lots of beautiful flowers. When I was growing up, she was someone […]
Big group outing to the Singapore Zoo yesterday. We covered a third of the zoo together, watched a show, had lunch, and the little ones went off to Rainforest Kidzworld for water play. I was going to bring the boys home at the 6 hour mark, but T was so disappointed that we did not see a […]
Cousins met up at the pool today. I must say that I like the Jurong East Swimming Complex so much better than the one at Jurong West. It’s nearer to our home, plus there’s KFC and Pastamania right beside the children’s pool so it’s very convenient to grab a bite. The boys (including Lucian!) ate so many boxes […]
Cousins met to check out Marine Cove today. Place was packed, as expected. Great that it rained heavily when we were about an hour into playing … because half of the crowded left after that. The bigger cousins all like sand so we spent an hour on the beach. Lucian didn’t really want any sand […]
Hello Isaac, the newest addition to our extended family! Isaac turned one month old on 19 Jun 16. He’s nocturnal for now … Older cousins were making a din the entire afternoon but that didn’t wake him up at all. In fact Isaac slept through his whole first month celebration and only woke up at 7.30pm when […]
Cousins out on a weekend in May 2016. Who’s happiest at these gatherings? Lucian! He loves his older cousins to bits!
New Year’s Party at the grandparents’ place. Looks like a fun gathering for both kids and adults!
Met cousins at Gardens last week to catch the Christmas lights. The four of them were cooling off in the water play area while waiting for the rest of the family to arrive …
All getting wet together … the WEEs and the SIMs and the WONGs and the LIMs!
Family lunch to celebrate the boys’ uncle turning another year older! And baby 可可 had the most adorbs tutu skirt. She was also v well behaved throughout lunch.
Rare weekday treat for him to be picked up from school and have lunch at a mall. With his fav cousin no less! He even came home with a toy, but we agreed that he’ll only open the box after his tests next week. Thanks for the afternoon of fun, Auntie J!
It’s really non-stop playing this long weekend. Cousins had a party and were rowdy for over 6 hours! Baby Lucian was the highlight at the party. Older cousins tried to feed him snacks and taught him to exercise! Everyone found him v cute and were greatly entertained by his antics!
Boys spent the whole weekend hanging out with cousins. Saturday morning with the baby, Saturday afternoon with their gang of older cousins. Sunday morning with the same gang again. They have a busier weekend than me!
Cousins met and played for the whole day. They swam, watched the aerial display at Marina, walked through the SG50 carnival outside MBS, and played some more … Everyone’s going to sleep early tonight because they all played so hard!
Cousins have been meeting up to play. More playing this weekend because it’s the Jubilee Weekend!
Baby 可可 is the newest addition to our extended family! She was born earlier this month but we didn’t get to meet her till she’s 3 weeks old. Yay, one more cousin to play with in future!
Our family back home celebrated CNY without us this year. They sent us a lot of nice photos that they took. Even though we’re not in Singapore, the boys still received a lot of love (= a lot of ang pows) from their grandparents, uncles and aunties! We celebrated CNY here in London too, just […]
We gathered at the grandparents’ place for dinner to celebrate Father’s Day. It’s an important day as we get to honour the most important men in our lives! T was eagerly sitting in front of the cake so that he can blow the candle out. He was also eagerly helping me to distribute the cake, even […]
