Met with cousins at City Square Mall for last minute shopping before school reopens. K needed wet shoes, tops, bottoms for P5 school camp. Cousins went TWICE to the Air Zone. Plenty of nets, plenty of balls, plenty of fun! Advertisements
During the June school holidays, boys went to Cartoon Network’s “Animate Your Life” event with their cousins. There were bouncy castles, trampoline, obstacle courses, etc. Heard from K that it was very fun because he spent the day with his cousins.
Extended family gathered to celebrate Mother’s Day. Grandmas played mahjong. Cousins played with each other. Luke did nothing much, but looked ultra cute in all the pics taken that day!
Snapped at the Mirror Maze at the Science Centre today.
Reunion lunch in JB with my dad’s siblings. Have not seen them in two years. Food was good and it was a nice catch-up! I might visit the restaurant again next time I’m back in JB.
Reunion dinner with grandmas and cousins at Bukit Batok. Didn’t take too many photos because I was busy playing mahjong with my aunties …
Family gathering on the last day of the year to celebrate the birthdays of our December babies and bid 2017 farewell. Hello 2018! Hope you’ll be the best one yet!
My first time checking out Upper Pierce Reservoir! Gosh, there were so many monkeys there. I wouldn’t dare to jog there alone. Boys had a lot of fun at the reservoir. L was thrilled to race all of us (he won many times). K and T like playing with branches and they found many long […]
Hello Luke, the littlest one in our family now! Luke arrived on 15 November 2017 and he weighed 3.25kg at birth. Big brother Lucian is so proud of his 弟弟！
K can make his eyeballs white!!! The rest of us mere mortals can’t. But Leticia wins the scariest look. Who needs costumes to be scary?
Another week, another family gathering to celebrate the birthday of a niece. Xuan Xuan turned 5! And she’s super hyper and talkative at her own party!
Cousins gathered for a steamboat party yesterday to celebrate an auntie’s 69th birthday. Younger ones went downstairs to play with sparklers and lanterns after dinner. So fun!
The Singapore Science Centre recently revamped it’s exhibits. It was so fun that we went TWICE in September. The second time was with cousins and they enjoyed the visit very much too. When you enter the Centre now, you will encounter many exhibits that try to trick your perception. Quite near the entrance there’s also […]
Singapore and Malaysia are both having a really loooong weekend now. There’s Merdeka Day, Teacher’s Day, Hari Raya Haji, Sep School Hols, ASEAN games hol … perfect time to visit Penang to meet up with cousins whom I’ve not seen in a long while. Between me and my cousins, we have EIGHT boys from 2 […]
Brayven turned 9 this week! Last weekend’s gathering at Pasir Ris was partly to celebrate his birthday. So many big cousins and so many small cousins at the party! Grandparents were all stowed away at the mahjong room and only appeared at mealtimes when they were in between games. Good that everyone had their own […]
Extended family gathered for 2 nights at a chalet in Pasir Ris. Cousins had fun chasing each other around the huge chalet, hanging out together to play their mobile phones, and sweating it out at Pasir Ris Park. They especially loved this spinning thing at the Park and would not get off to play other […]
可可 turns 2 in July! We met at a Teochew Porridge buffet place for lunch to celebrate her turning two. She’s learning how to pose for the camera these days. Cute!
Isaac turned 1 this week! Extended family gathered for a BBQ to celebrate his birthday. It was a noisy and sweaty celebration, and the cousins totally enjoyed themselves running around and accumulating sweat! Since it was also my birthday and Kok Loon’s birthday over the weekend, the extended family celebrated for us too. Pamela – […]
We’ve finally saved enough to buy a Lego Mindstorms set! Since October, I’ve been sending the boys to school on foot a few days a week. It started out as a punishment for them because I caught them lying and this was one of their entitlements that I slashed. As the weeks passed, it turned out to […]
Cousins played blackjack on the last day of CNY. My brother was the banker. K earned $3 that evening. T didn’t join the game. He played Lego with a younger cousin instead. Coke light and eggs were assembled for a science experiment. T had to soak one raw egg and one hard boiled egg in […]
We squeezed in a short holiday to Malacca before the year ended. As KL couldn’t make it, me and my mum and the boys took a bus there. It was quite painful, 6 hours each way. T took an anti-motion sickness pill on the way there, so he didn’t puke. I lost his other pill […]
可可 is turning 18 months and will be joining a toddler class soon! She’s not too much of a babbler yet but she eats so heartily every time I see her. She really likes KL to carry her!
Had a yummy Christmas lunch with cousins at Bukit Batok. We also took the chance to celebrate the December birthdays in the family. Quite amazing how many December babies there are in this family! And three new dwarfs spotted at Bukit Batok … because my mum is into country decor now!
Last weekend, family met for dinner at House of Seafoood. The dishes were all very good. I especially liked the salted egg yolk crab because it was so gooey and yummy!
Mid week dinner with family @ Junction 8. Because it’s PSLE marking week!
My cousin Jennie passed away last Saturday after a four year plus battle with breast cancer. She would have turned 41 this October. She made her own plans for her own passing. It was a simple cremation, no funeral, ashes shattered into the sea, lots of beautiful flowers. When I was growing up, she was someone […]
Big group outing to the Singapore Zoo yesterday. We covered a third of the zoo together, watched a show, had lunch, and the little ones went off to Rainforest Kidzworld for water play. I was going to bring the boys home at the 6 hour mark, but T was so disappointed that we did not see a […]
